Internetics, a project by The Institute, officially opens its 25th anniversary edition to agencies, online divisions, and companies developing digital projects or benefiting from campaigns. Agencies and companies can submit projects carried out between August 23rd, 2024 – August 10th, 2025 on the official website: www.internetics.ro.
The Institute, through Internetics, has been rewarding digital ideas since the Web 1.0 era. This marks 25 years in which Internetics has been a constant benchmark for the digital marketing market in Romania, without interruption, contributing to setting industry standards.
The festival has mirrored and supported the tech transformations that have revolutionized communication in Romania. From Social Networks to Mobile Marketing, from blogging to vlogging and streaming, the competition has captured the evolution of digital behavior long before the emergence of Facebook or the iPhone.
This year's registration runs from July 15th to September 8th and consists of two stages.
The first registration phase runs from July 15th to August 21st (Regular Deadline). Then, from August 22nd, participants can enter their campaigns in the Last Chance Deadline phase until September 8th, which will mark the end of any opportunity to apply to the competition. The two stages have different entry fees according to the 25th edition rules.
This year's edition retains the competition structure of six main categories: Website & Mobile, Social Media & Communities, Video, Digital Brand Experience & Activation, Digital Campaigns and Internetics Digital for Good. Definitions of all sections can be found here. The competition includes 2 types of entry forms, a Main Entry Form valid for all sections of the competition and one dedicated to the Internetics Digital for Good category.
Fees vary according to the entry period and the competition category. The competition charges a single fee per entry, regardless of the section in which it is entered. An exception is the Internetics Digital for Good category, where the cost is reduced as part of The Institute's effort to support and encourage projects with social impact.
Increased fees apply for entries in the Last chance phase (August 22nd - September 8th), with the exception of the Internetics Digital for Good category, where the fee remains unchanged. More details on fees are available here.
More than 90 experts will be involved in the project evaluation.
The Internetics 2025 jury will include more than 90 digital marketing specialists, who will determine the winners of the edition following two rounds of judging in October and November. The members of this year's jury are to be announced in August through The Institute's communication channels and on www.internetics.ro.
For the first round of judging, the awarding of sections takes into account the mix of expertise and the system of recusal which aims to avoid conflicts of interest: jurors will not evaluate sections in which they have entries in the competition and will not have access to projects entered by direct competitors in the industry in which they work or projects in which they have been collaborators. The recusal system also involves self-judging, whereby a juror may refrain from evaluating an entry based on any other criteria not included in the recusal system.
The titles of AGENCY OF THE YEAR and BEST DIGITAL CLIENT OF THE YEAR will be awarded on the basis of points collected from nominations and trophies.
The points system that determines the two big titles of the competition keeps the mechanics of last year's edition: a nomination will be worth 2 points (with a maximum of 10 points that can be accumulated from nominations), each "Silver" 4 points, each "Gold" 6 points, regardless of the category in which they were earned. The Digital Campaigns category will also have a Best Digital Campaign trophy, voted from all the "Gold" nominations in the category and worth 8 points.
The 25th Internetics Awards Ceremony will take place in November 2025 in Bucharest.
