Agency of the Year at Internetics 2022: Publicis Romania │ NETFLIX – Digital Client of the Year

Internetics announced its winners at the Internetics 2022 Awarding Gala which took place on November 17th at NORD Events Center by Globalworth. The festival recognizes each year the best digital initiatives and the best practices in online communication, being a project initiated by The Institute and supported by UniCredit Bank. During the event, 44 trophies were awarded – out of which 18 GOLD trophies and 23 SILVER trophies.



The title Agency of the Year was awarded in 2022 to Publicis Romania, with points accumulated from 7 trophies won and other 4 nominations. While the Digital Client of the YEAR title was awarded to NETFLIX, with 1 nomination and 8 trophies won – among which BEST DIGITAL CAMPAIGN.

The 22nd edition of Internetics has awarded a total of 11 agencies & companies: Arctic │ Cohn & Jansen Creative Network │ Jam Session Agency │ Leo Burnett │ MRM │ Publicis Romania │ Saatchi & Saatchi + The Geeks │ THE NEW │ Tribal Worldwide │ v8 │ VMLY&R Romania.

Top 3 agencies are: 1. Publicis Romania, 2. Cohn & Jansen Creative Network and Leo Burnett with equal points accumulated, 3. Saatchi & Saatchi + The Geeks, while the top of the clients looks like this: 1. NETFLIX, 2. Kaufland Romania, 3. P&G Romania and Asociatia Accept with equal points.

Publicis Romania was awarded the title Agency of the Year based on the points it accumulated for the following awards: Act for Good  for Carrefour (GOLD – Digital Platforms // MOBILE // Mobile Apps; GOLD – Digital Strategies // COMMUNITIES // Brand Built Communities); Come Out with Me for ACCEPT (GOLD – Digital Platforms // SOCIAL MEDIA // Social Media Special Mechanics and Influencer Marketing; SILVER – Digital Campaigns // Social Campaigns); It’s good to be distrusting for Autovit.ro (SILVER – Digital Strategies // ONLINE BRANDED CONTENT; SILVER – Digital Campaigns // E-Commerce). Also, the agency received a series of nominations for the projects: Sleep Well Baby for Orange (Digital Strategies // COMMUNITIES // Brand Associated Communities); Halloween 2021 – The Emotional Pumpkins for Ferrero Romania (Digital Campaigns // FMCG – FOOD); 100 for 100  - The Romanian National Opera (Digital Campaigns // Art, Culture, Media and Entertainment) și DVR – New York for Carrefour Romania (Digital Campaigns // Retail). Publicis Romania also won a trophy & a nomination in the newly introduced category Internetics Digital for Good: a SILVER trophy for Act for Good (Carrefour) and a nomination for Orange Screens Off.



Cohn & Jansen Creative Network was awarded the trophy for BEST DIGITAL CAMPAIGN for the project 07LABANDA.RO - THE GOLD HUNT (Netflix Casa de Papel), which also won a GOLD trophy in the sub-category Art, Culture, Media and Entertainment // Digital Campaigns and two SILVER trophies (in Digital Strategies // DIGITAL BRAND EXPERIENCE and GAMIFICATION). The agency won another four GOLD trophies (Stranger Heathens for Stranger Things – Digital Platforms // SOCIAL MEDIA // Viral Video; The Dance of An Era for Bridgerton– Digital Platforms // SOCIAL MEDIA // Influencer Marketing and Digital Strategies // ONLINE BRANDED CONTENT and Music saves us all for Stranger Things – Digital Strategies // COMMUNITIES // Brand Associated Communities) and a nomination (Music saves us all – Digital Campaigns // Art, Culture Media and Entertainment).

Leo Burnett won for the project LOVE YOURSELF pentru FASHION DAYS a GOLD trophy in the category Digital Strategies // ONLINE BRANDED CONTENT, a SILVER trophy in the category Digital Campaigns // E-Commerce and another SILVER trophy in the category Digital Platforms // SOCIAL MEDIA // Influencer Marketing. Also, with the project TO WASH OR NOT TO WASH for Head & Shoulders, Leo Burnett was awarded another two trophies and a nomination: GOLD – Digital Campaigns // FMCG – NON FOOD; SILVER – Digital Platforms // SOCIAL MEDIA // Influencer Marketing, Nomination – Digital Strategies // ONLINE BRANDED CONTENT. The agency won another two SILVER trophies for the projects: WashTheBadAway | #CeleReleSăSeSpele for Ariel – Digital Campaigns // FMCG – NON FOOD and SLICES OF LIFE for PIZZA HUT – Digital Platforms // SITES // Websites. The last of the two also obtained a nomination in the category Digital Platforms // DIGITAL CRAFT // Best Website Content. Leo Burnett was awarded another two nominations for the projects: LABELLING COURAGE, URSUS – Digital Strategies // COMMUNITIES // Brand Built Communities, THE AWESOME EXPO, SAMSUNG – Digital Strategies // DIGITAL BRAND EXPERIENCE and Decoded by BT¸ Banca Transilvania – Digital Strategies // ONLINE BRANDED CONTENT.

Saatchi & Saatchi + The Geeks won with the project Yuki Saaki for IQads a GOLD trophy in the category Digital Campaigns // Art, Culture, Media and Entertainment, a SILVER trophy in Digital Strategies // Communities // Brand Associated Communities and a nomination in Digital Platforms // Social Media // Social Media Special Mechanics; with the project Dăruiește Viață’s LIFEBEATS a SILVER trophy in Digital Strategies // DIGITAL BRAND EXPERIENCE and two nominations in Digital Strategies // Communities // Brand Associated Communities and Digital Campaigns // Social Campaigns; and with the project Bookvertising for Nemira a GOLD trophy in Digital Platforms // Social Media // Social Media Special Mechanics, a SILVER trophy in Digital Strategies // Communities // Brand Associated Communities and a nomination in Digital Campaigns // Art, Culture, Media and Entertainment. The same project for Nemira won a SILVER trophy in the category Internetics Digital for Good.

The competition also brought into attention several Special prizes, as follows:

The Internetics 2022 Awarding Gala followed the Do Good Through Digital theme, was moderated by Andi Moisescu and hosted by de NORD Events Center by Globalworth. The Ceremony marked the end of the 22nd edition of the competition and celebrated the best interactive campaigns, technologies, website and tools used in online advertising in the past year.
