Ana Murray is the Country Director for Ashoka in Romania - the largest network of social entrepreneurs worldwide, with nearly 4,000 Fellows in over 90 countries. Ana is also the co-founder of Black Button Books - the first woman-owned publishing house in Romania, devoted to bringing progressive, life-changing books to local readers. Prior, Ana was part for over 9 years of the management team of the largest Southeastern integrated oil & gas company, with a focus on strategy, reputation management, digital communications and

program management. 

With over 10 years dedicated to public policies, civil and social engagement either through the Lions Clubs International to Aspen Institute Romania (Fellow, 2010) or The German Marshall Fund (Fellow, 2016), Ana strives to find a sustainable path to have a positive impact in this world.
