Winners Internetics 2016

The best online projects in Romania were awarded on 21st of November at The Romanian Athenaeum, during the 2016 Internetics Awarding Gala. MRM//McCann was granted with the Agency of the Year Title.
 
16 agencies won this year 43 trophies: Cohn and Jansen JWT, Digital Star, Golin, Graffiti BBDO, Kinecto Isobar Bucharest, Kubis Interactive, Leo Burnett România/Publicis One, MRM // McCann, MullenLowe Profero, Ogilvy Group, Publicis România/Publicis One, Saatchi & Saatchi + The Geeks România/ Publicis One, The Coca-Cola Company, Thinkdigital România, V8 Interactive and WEBSTYLER & GMP Advertising.

Based on the trophies won and nominations top 5 agencies are: 1. MRM//McCann, 2. WEBSTYLER, 3. Publicis România/Publicis One, 4. Golin, 5. Leo Burnett/Publicis One
 
MRM//McCann won 7 trophies with 5 campaigns: „CokeStream Romania” (Silver in Culture – Online Branded Content), „Fakation” and „Little Money Big Fun” for KFC, both winning Gold in Social Media Special Mechanics, „Wi Fi Tests” for KFC (Gold in Mobile Campaigns, Winner in section Others - INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGNS - Full Digital Campaign and Silver in the same subcategory) and „Sprite - uncool check-in” (Silver in Digital Brand Experience). KFC also won the award for The Most Creative Client of the Year.
 
WEBSTYLER also won 7 trophies (but gathered less points than MRM//McCann) for Gândul - „Romanians Adopt Remainians” (Silver in Viral Non Video and in Social Media – Online PR Special Projects and  Winner in Art, Culture, Media and Entertainment - INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGNS - Full Digital Campaign), „Star Wars Stunt” for AVstore (Silver in Online PR Special Projects), „Instacans” for Coca-Cola (Silver in Mobile Campaigns), „The Epic Call To Arms” for Banca Transilvania (Winner in Others - INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGNS - Digital component of an integrated campaign and Silver in the same subcategory).
 
Publicis Romania/Publicis One won 5 trophies for: „Bernie Speed Test” (Gold in Viral Non Video and in Online PR Special Projects), „Mr. Bear Driver” (Gold in Online Advertising Games and Silver and Mobile Apps) and „Shop like a Jedi” for Carrefour (Silver in Digital Brand Experience).

Golin came on 4th with 4 trophies for „Electric Castle, Unofficial Partners” (Gold in Communities – Brand Built Communities) and „Vanilla Skype, the first theatre play with an audience casting” (Silver in Online PR Special Projects, Winner in Art, Culture, Media and Entertainment din INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGNS - Digital component of an integrated campaign and Gold in the same subcategory).

Leo Burnett/Publicis One won 4 Silver trophies: 3 for TADAAAM by Telekom – Silver in Online Branded Content (Culture), in Brand Built Communities and in section Social Media Pages and one Silver for „ABSOLUT Creator” in Digital Brand Experience.
As for companies, top 5 most awarded companies are: 1. KFC ( 5 trophies); 2. The Coca-Cola Company (4 trophies); 3. Mediafax / Telekom Romania / Orange România with 3 trophies each.

The passion of the Jury to appreciate and award only the best coupled with absolutely stunning entries made our job difficult but extremely rewarding. I come out of this judging process as a student rewarded with extremely rich understanding of large and small brands alike kicking it absolutely hard on creativity, on business success and adoption and innovative use of new media. I understand Romania and its people better now! The competition had 156 works submitted by 29 participants for 67 brands. Congrats to all the winners and see you in 2017!
